Trails to explore during your stay in the Gatineau area
There are several trails in Gatineau, Cantley, and the surrounding area you can access within a short distance from Ciel et Bois. To help you explore, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best places to go. Whether you want to hike, bike, or run–there is something for everyone.

1. Ciel et Bois Main Trail
We created this trail through the forest on our property at Ciel et Bois. It’s a short trail that is easy to hike. We think it’s the perfect way to get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and if you’re lucky, maybe see some wildlife. It can also connect you to the Nakkertok system of trails.

2. Nakkertok
Nakkertok has a great network of trails you can access directly from Ciel et Bois. ACheck out this article on the best trails in Nakkertok from All Trails.
Distance from Ciel et Bios: Nakkertok South trails can be accessed directly from our property. Val Des Monts trails are a 22 minute drive.
Trail length: Variety of trail options from easy to difficult.

3. Gatineau Park Visitor Centre
Gatineau Park has one of the largest networks of trails in North America. The park is a conservation area with over 360 square kilometers to explore. No matter what season you are planning your trip, there are activities for you do. View the Gatineau Park Trail Maps for more information.
